Description

Overview:
Enhance your plumbing projects with the Anderson Metals 00560-06 Compression Sleeve, designed specifically for 3/8 inch polyethylene tubing. This durable plastic compression sleeve is engineered to provide a secure and leak-proof connection for various applications, including water, gasoline, oil, and vacuum lines. Its robust construction ensures reliability and longevity, making it an essential component for both professional plumbers and DIY enthusiasts.

Key Features:
- Three-piece construction includes a nut, sleeve (or ferrule), and body for optimal performance.
- Compatible with copper, aluminum, or plastic tubing; note that plastic requires the use of a 60P sleeve and 61P insert.
- Temperature range from negative 65 degrees Fahrenheit to plus 250 degrees Fahrenheit, ensuring versatility in various environments.
- Standard fittings utilize short nuts, while long nuts are available for applications with higher vibrations.
- To purchase a compression fitting with a long nut, simply add a "1" in front of the part number (e.g., 68 becomes 168).
- Easy disassembly without the need for a flaring tool, simplifying maintenance and repairs.
- Primary uses include water, gasoline, oil, and vacuum lines, making it suitable for a wide range of plumbing tasks.
- Assembly instructions:
1. Cut a smooth, square end on the tubing.
2. Slide the nut and then the sleeve onto the tube, ensuring the thread faces the end.
3. Insert the tube into the fitting.
4. Thread the nut onto the fitting until snug, following these guidelines: Up to 1/4 inch = 1-1/4 turns, 5/16 inch = 1-3/4 turns, 3/8 inch and up = 2-1/4 turns.

Use Cases:
This compression sleeve is ideal for various plumbing applications, including residential and commercial installations. Whether you are connecting water lines, setting up fuel systems, or creating vacuum connections, the Anderson Metals compression sleeve provides the reliability and ease of use you need for successful plumbing projects.
